Customs and Import Fees
Everything you need to know about customs charges, taxes, and import fees when ordering from Gymineer.
The short version
Good news — we’ve got this covered. For orders delivered within the United States, customs duties and import-related fees are included, so there’s nothing extra for you to pay on delivery. This is also usually the case for orders shipped elsewhere too.
In rare cases, customers in certain remote areas may still be asked to pay a customs or import fee on delivery, due to local regulations or courier policy. Because these situations are set by local authorities and can change at any time, we’re not able to provide a fixed list of affected destinations.
What do I need to know?
- In the vast majority of cases, customs duties and import fees are already covered — you shouldn’t be asked to pay anything extra on delivery
- If a fee is requested in a rare, remote-destination case, this is set by your local customs authority and courier, not by Gymineer
- We recommend keeping an eye on tracking notifications from the courier, just in case
- If you’re ever unsure whether a customs charge or payment request is genuine, contact our Customer Support team before paying anything
Will I be charged?
Almost always, no. If you’re ordering to a mainstream address in the US or most other countries, customs and import fees are included in your order and there’s nothing further to pay.
The exception is certain remote or specially-regulated areas, where local customs policy may require a fee to be collected on delivery regardless of who ships the item. If this applies to your address, your courier will contact you directly with the amount owed and how to pay it.
My parcel is being held at customs
This should be rare, but if your tracking shows a customs hold:
- Wait for a notification from the courier — they’ll contact you by email or text with any amount owed and instructions to pay, if applicable
- Only pay via the official link or method provided by the courier
- Once resolved, delivery usually resumes within a few working days, though this can vary by country and courier
If your parcel has been held for more than 5 working days with no update from the courier, contact them directly using the tracking link from your dispatch email. Gymineer isn’t able to intervene directly in customs processes — this is handled between the courier and the local customs authority — but our Customer Support team can help you figure out next steps.
How do I know if a payment link I’ve received is genuine?
If you do receive a request for a customs payment, it will come from the courier handling your delivery. If you’re unsure whether the link or message is genuine, don’t click or pay — contact our Customer Support team first and we’ll help you check it.
If you choose not to pay a legitimate fee, the parcel will typically be returned to sender. Let us know if this happens and we’ll sort out next steps, including a refund where appropriate.
